Qué bonito, Antonio! Me produce envidia (sana) y sincera admiración que un profesional tan grande de la animación no haya visto contaminado su estilo en lo más mínimo... Y efectivamente, tu estilo tiene muchísima fuerza...
Abrazos enormes para... ¡LOS CINCO!... Te juro que no sé qué demonios es eso de mi “estilo”. He huido siempre de tener uno. Más bien he dejado que cada historia me pidiera una específica y única forma de ser realizada y me he dejado llevar por ese instinto. Me aburre hacer las cosas siempre igual, y supongo que eso no es muy comercial... La animación es otro cantar, como bien sabes... ¡Enhorabuena por tu flamante álbum con Juanjo!
Bueno, cuando digo "estilo" me refiero más bien a una especie de "huella personal" o "seña de identidad", algo así como la caligrafía, no una repetición de recursos gráficos, si no bien al contrario, una aportación del propio carácter al dibujo que hace que al ver diferentes maneras de realizar una obra uno se diga: "...esto parece cosa del Sr. Navarro..." Je, je...
Lo que unos y otros llamamos estilo sería seguramente tema de largas conversaciones del tipo "sexo de los ángeles" me temo...

Jeje... Recuerdo una charla que me echaste una vez sobre "Estilo=Carcel" Coincido con Tere en que el hecho de que estos bocetos estén en las antípodas de la animación es un enorme punto a favor. Me gustan mucho... me recuerda a ratos a los bocetos de Giacometti y me encanta el ojo que tienes para elegir objetivos interesantes. Un abrazote!

This is really great! No other than the one and only Mark Marren!! I went to your blog to contact you, but I couldn’t. Yes I’m back in Madrid since the beginning of this millennium. Many, many good and bad things had happened since the last time we see each other in Burbank (if I recall right) but I’m fine and still making drawings and, eventually, telling stories with them. What the hell is Potato island?!
